Old timey portraits fascinate me to no end. Check out these mug shots from 1920's: a close up, and a full body portrait. These guys look BAD ASS even in their mug shots. Can't phase these cool cats; some wear their fedora over their eyes, some smoking a cigarette, smooth stances all around.
on a similar note, I came across A Flapper's Dictionary which is just the cat's pajamas.
